As golfers, we know that improving our putting will cut valuable strokes off our game. Putting accounts for 40% and more of our strokes and by learning to reduce the number of putts, we'll easily reduce our overall score.

 

Russ Bennett has spent many years playing and reading about golf and working hard to improve his game. Through the years he, as many of us, has experimented with countless devices, gadgets and gimmicks to try to reduce his score.

 

The vast majority of these attempts have resulted in increasing frustration and a fleeting hope that maybe the next one will be a little better. It was that kind of frustration that led Russ to seriously evaluate the mechanics of putting and, more importantly, the mechanics of meaningful putting practice.

 

Drawing upon his engineering background and engaging in a series of consultations with a tool and die company, Russ was able to simplify the putting practice function and reduce it to its basest elements. These elements are Eye-over-the-ball, alignment, stance, pace or stroke length and direct feedback.

 

The Bennett Tru-Putt is the culmination of that research and provides direct feedback for all of the necessary practice elements that contribute to a successful putting practice session.

 

The Bennett Tru-Putt putting trainer went into production during the summer of 2005 and has enjoyed remarkable success immediately. Its appearance at the 2006 PGA Show in Orlando, Florida provided additional positive feedback from playing pros and teaching pros alike.

 

In fact, it is now in use in many American university programs and can be found on many practice greens at golf courses throughout North America and the UK.

 

This is the first product for Bennett Tru-Putt but will not be its last. Russ Bennett is currently developing new products to help the average golfers and teaching and playing professionals to improve their games.
